Win A Family Ticket To The East Sussex Living History Festival

Updated: 2 days ago

We're offering you the chance to win one of TEN free family tickets - offering free entry for two adults and up to four children - to the East Sussex Living History Festival, one of the most thrilling heritage events of the summer!

Taking place on the August Bank Holiday weekend, this action-packed festival takes over the spectacular Michelham Priory House & Gardens, transforming it into a window into the past.

Wander through authentic living history encampments covering centuries of change – from the early medieval age through to the Tudor era. Chat with historical reenactors, see crafts in action, and experience the smells, sounds, and sights of everyday life from the 10th to 16th centuries.

Throughout the weekend, thrilling live demonstrations and combat displays bring historic warfare to life with authentic weapons and tactics. Visitors can also enjoy traditional cooking, intricate crafts, and hands-on activities that offer a fun, interactive glimpse into centuries-old practices.

Open daily from 10am to 5pm, the East Sussex Living History Festival is the perfect day out for all ages. Visitors can refuel in the delightful Blue Door Café, which will be serving delicious lunches, sweet treats and locally sourced produce.

Worth £48 per ticket, just enter our random draw before the competition closes on Wednesday August 13 - best of luck!

And, if you opt-in to receive marketing emails from Sussex Past and would like to buy a ticket, you'll be sent a discount for the festival after the competition closes!
